I use an ipod touch and have had the same problem. Have you kept up with the iphone software upgrades? The last two including one last week have covered Safari problems. Since I installed the one before last I have not had any more problems. When I did have the problem I hit the bookmark button and then the top line and the post loaded. Hope this helps.
