thx to the help of many, many of you here, my new $1/$2 cash set addition is almost complete. one more small push to try and get it completed.

i would also like to apologize to those of you that believe i am desecrating the chips by putting it into play. i think this can probably be chalked up as similar to one of those "clean 'em or not clean 'em" debates. AC is where i cut my teeth in poker.

i am looking for AC $1 chips that:
1-have this size inlay,
2-have this specific edgespot pattern,
3-are a house mold,
4-have no warping,
5-are not discolored and
6-will stand on edgge

this is the most recent pic i could find of where i am at with this set. and i would like to end up with AT LEAST 5 chip from each casino.

i have since picked up a few more (which include the ever elusive brighton). im still looking for 4 more brightons and and a couple atlantis. havent found any showboats (sho-1), as of yet.

another shout out to archie for allowing me to use pics of his scans during my search. it has helped out tremedously.

if anyone has any chips that match my criteria and are interested in selling, please feel free to email me with what you have and what you want. i prefer to buy in quantity. and i have found in the past that my NOT being a collector has gotten me a few "are you crazy" responses. i have been basing all my offers on what i have been paying for these chips while putting this set together. if my offer doesnt come close to what you want for you chips, please dont be offended - im just clueless.

once i get the set complete i will post a final pic for all also.
