At the Super Show, I found a new version of a match from the Fronton Palace in Tiajuana. This one was apparently made in Mexico. Note the warning message "Ciérrese antes de encender" which translates to: Close door before lighting [g].

Note the Mexican cover also has a stamp inside, apparently for a tax on matches.

Not exactly a gambling matchcover, but you could bet on the Jai Alai games (and I guess you still can). I'd guess these are from the sixties from the telephone exchanges and the fact they are front-strikers.
