It seems that we get into this discussion every year when it comes to room rates.

The BOD does our best to obtain the best rates for our club well in advance to make sure everyone has the opportunity to stay at the Host Hotel for a decent price.

There will ALWAYS be opportunities to stay elsewhere or even at the same hotel for less for some members based on thier play or offers from other casinos.

However as I have said before it is ALWAYS in the clubs best interest to get as many room nights booked under the club block as possible.

By the way, I have been told that many organizations REQUIRE all thier convention attendees to stay at the host hotel. Fortunately we have not been forced to have such a requirement.

Everyone has a choice to make and my choice as it has always been is to stay at the host hotel and support the club.
