I as a member feel somewhat confused when it comes to the club elections.....

1. I agree with Deb in saying that I don't really know what all of the positions are and what specific

duties are involved. If it is posted somewhere then I have missed it.

2. I don't always know who the pool of potential nominees are......or what their qualifications might be...

I have met a few members but most of the info that i see is individual comments on this board.

This helps somewhat in giving me a "feel" about some members but doesn't really tell me

anything about their background, experience or real qualifications.

3. It would be nice if those who would consider being nomimated and elected had bio sheets somewhere.

If it already exists someplace....then I and probably other members don't know where. I admit

to being a big dumb animal at times. I'm thinking more about those members that aren't actively

seeking a nomination...because they wouldn't be considered.....yet might be considered if we

only knew more about their experience.

4. Most of the newer members would never be considered because they don't have the club contacts

that older members usually develop. This doesn't mean that they might not have tremendous

qualifications.....if we only knew about them.

5. I do know that several of the people that i would like to have seen nominated declined when

their names were brought up.....and i am pleased with most of the final nominees.....but i still

wonder what potentially great club leaders never even got a consideration...entirely because

we don't know anything about their qualifications.
