I'm not 100% sure but I don't recall any casino in A/C issuing any chips outside the norm of what would be found in a normal rack.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the CCC even has rules bout that.
The other problem is that unlike other venues, with the exception of the recent playboy chip debacle, every chip ever issued in an A/C casino is redeemable even if the casino is now defunct.
The casino has to have in escrow monies to redeem EVERY outstanding chip.
Unless there is a destruction notice these chips stay on the books as a liability.
Therefore all the monies collected on the sale of LE's pretty much have to stay in place should they ever be redeemed.
Not much incentive for the casino's to produce chips especially in these economic times unless they see a way to use it as a marketing tool.
Yes, we are hurting for new issues and as a result it has also had an effect on club membership as well as turnout at meetings I'm sure.
On the positive side, we here in N.J. also don't have to worry lest we miss a redemption notice and get stuck or for that matter find that chips that we paid lot's of money for could now possibly be bought for pennies on the dollar
