A link to Richard (Dick) Staeffler's web site was posted yesterday in Rich's thread and there is some great info in here especially with the California club chips. Dick has the CCC inlaid chip listed as SS Rex, Santa Monica with the colors WHT, BLU, MRN, MUS, LAV, GRN. The CCC chip in the picture is kind of a pinkish color and a long way off from being Maroon or Lavender I would think. Was this a generic chip that just happened to be used on SS REX in those colors?
