nothing enlightening in my records on Paul Harris or a Clock Club for that matter. I'm just trying to fill a few holes in my Illinois collection, and this seemed, on the surface anyway, to be an Illinois chip. As Gene already said it appears to be a Taylor & Co walk-in sale.

I did find an "Alarm Clock Club", but that's a long shot. Anyway, I'm glad to have the background on the Galveston attribution. I have plenty of chips in my Illinois folders based on similar evidence, at least until I learn otherwise. It certainly wouldn't be the first time a Chicago chip moved south after an enforcement crackdown.
