I believe that what Greg was pointing out to you is that there appears to "cross-hatching" at the outside edge of that chip, but where it is closer to the inlay, it looks smooth or "buffed". Usual chip wear of the cross-hatching starts at the outer edges and then moves in...your chip's cross-hatching looks worn at the inlay but not so much at the edge.
