After a news briefing by the NTSB, reporters were allowed to ask questions. I had assumed reporters were educated professional people but the questions being asked made ME feel embarrassed they were so stupid. Here are just a few….

REPORTER: Is the tail still intact? (in response to data recorders)
Duh, the thing sticking up in the back seen on all the pictures is ATTACHED to the tail.

REPORTER: How much gasoline was on board the jet?
Reporters have 'some' education and have heard of jet fuel right?

(NTSB reported both engines are gone and the river is being scanned with sonar.)
REPORTER: How deep is the river? (NTSB Answer 30 ft.) Reporter followed up by: How deep do you think the engines are?
Do the reporters think jet engines float? Or could be 40 feet in a 30 foot deep river?
