I was at Harrah's AC this past weekend, and was fortunate enough to have some $500 chips to cash in on Sunday. At the main cage, they made a big deal that they needed to photocopy my ID and get a supervisor. It turns out that late Saturday night some guys smashed the chip covers on some tables in a closed pit and made off with over $35k in $500 CIC chips. Later in the day Sunday they pulled all the $500 chips off of every table, and said they were going to replace them with backup chips. I left Monday morning and the new chips were still not out yet.
