What do you think my boss would say if I told him that sure he never got the report he was expecting today but think of all those other times he did get his reports ?

Simply unacceptable.

I my opinion, there is no reason other than lazyness that the driver on that day (Along with the other days this same thing happened) for what occured.

He simply choose not to get out of the vehicle and walk the 35 feet to my door.

Was he running late and having a hard time finding addresses on a new route?, Shouldnt matter.

Just my opinion a person should do their job and do it right or dont do it at all.

I dont accept that kind of lazyness from my employees and my superior does not accept it from me.

Unfortunately it has become all but commonplace in the postal system these days.

Now I never said ALL postman are lazy. My regular postman for the past 4 years has been the greatest and will go out of his way to deliver my mail even when some moron from across the street parks right in front of my box. And I recognize him for that with a VERY nice tip every Christmas.

However being lazy and then hearing an excuse from the postmaster like I was given is simply unacceptable from my standpoint.
