...that I've always wondeded when seeing these one pound silver rounds-- are they are a troy pound (i.e., 12 troy ounces), or an avoirdupois pound (i.e., 16 avoirdupois ounces)? I can only presume that they are a troy pound (the common unit of measure for precious metals, and luckily for us, about 10% heavier than an avoirdupois ounce), but since I have never actually seen/held/weighed one in person, I have always been somewhat curious.
