The answer is quite easy. It is simply a matter of making the answer available to everyone. You'll frequently see very experienced chippers posting questions on chip/casino id's. Sure we could always easily drop a quick email to our friends, but then nobody would be reading the questions and answers.
One of the beautiful things about the chipboard is the sharing of information. Everyone benefits from seeing the questions and answers. Well...at least everyone that didn't already know the answer. Newer collectors benefit quite a bit. The ole education by osmosis theory.
How many times have you seen Gene Trimble post an id question, or Jerry Birl, or rich Hanover, or...well you get the idea. It's not just about getting the answer, it's about sharing.
An added bonus, is most of the time, you'll get an answer within minutes, if not seconds.
I highly recommend that everyone consider posting questions. It's a very good thing.
