Looking at non-English currency and determining its origin is one of the most difficult tasks for a new collector, and only looking at the back makes it even more difficult. That was one of my hardest hurdles to overcome, being able to recognize type, style, bank names in other languages, etc. of notes. Even today I run across notes that throw me a curve.
