I really don't think that had anything to do with the final price. There are just not that many of that specific chip out there to be "picky" on condition. You can always ask for more scans or pics or information. $1500 is a lot of money for a casino chip. This day and age may not be the best time to try and sell the high end stuff and expect to get what they want out of it. I do think there are collectors such as myself who do collect high end AC chips but in my case money is a little tight and I could'nt justify to the boss (my wife) spneding $1500 on a casino chip. When collecting Atlantic City chips, there comes a time when you can obtain every $1, $2.50, and $5 ever issued by every casino in AC. This is much more difficult in Las Vegas. The natural progression then would be to collect the $20's, $25's, $100's and up. Those chips are much harder and more expensive to obtain than their lower counterparts. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Ac collectors would love to have the higher end chips, it just takes longer and a more thoughtout process than lower end AC chips.
