Recently a $25 Resorts RES-25 sold on Ebay for around $1500 (see link below).
Any opinions on why it did not fetch more money?
Some ideas:
1) It's right after Christmas, and no one has any money left to spend
2) The economy is bad, and no one is buying big ticket items
3) The picture was not good, and the true condition of the chip could not be seen
4) The one I'm afraid of: There are very few people who want to collect high end AC chips (versus LV), and the market is so tight that if you ever wanted to sell a higher end chip, you need to be lucky enough that one of the few collectors is specifically looking for it.
5) Other ideas?
