As a relative newbie, I think it would be a fantastic idea. I just started to become interested in the early Las Vegas things. I know that for myself, trying to research a few casinos, I have found a lot of information and misinformation. It's hard for me to seperate fact from fiction (or opinion). How would information be verified especially if it's coming from many different people?

I was just thinking that for one of the early casinos, it would probably be a never ending project on just the 1st one. Starting out with the Flamingo, I can't imagine how many chips, matchbooks, postcards and various pieces of memorabilia have been produced since the 40s. I'm sure it's mind boggling!

Again, I think your idea is great. A continuous and growing source of information on the various casinos would be a good thing for this hobby, especially from a newbie prospective.
