NCR 2 weeks of fun?
Wend. Dec. 10 could not get on innernet. Oh well provider glich? Wait till tomorrow. Thur. called provider. after 20 minutes " Sorry we have an outage of over 1 million custemers in So. Cal. Hope to be back up by noon, for sure todat." Sat. same response. 1 week later T. V. ( same service ) goes out. Phone call, same response. No T. V. no innernet. Last friday I call again. Young lady, very nice, tries to re-boot innernet mod. and can not get innernet herself. She sends out service tech. on Mon. Service tech. has all working in 15 min. Upshot 12 days no internet, 9 days no T.V. I have no complaint with people I talked to, very polite and tried to help. However, the company they work for realy droped the ball. The people who were in direct contact with customers, by phone, were not given enough info. to pass on to customers. I worked for So. Cal. Gas co. for 32 years. If we had an outage ( earth quake, flood, Fire, what ever), we let customers know what was going on and worked long hours to get them back on. After the North Ridge earth quake I worked up to 20 hour days and was gone from home 2 weeks. Phone reps were up to date on problem. I do not see that level of service from my provide. Time Warner Cable will have major problem keeping customers if this level of service continues.
