The first time I had a conversation with Janice was when I was just starting to become a serious collector. At the time she was working at Bill Akeman's booth in the Gamblers General Store. I was in town a few days early, ahead of the convention. Although Janice was most definitely very candid in her opinions, I found her to be very warm and willing to help new collectors. The convention was going to be at the Tropicana that year and she was not going to be there. I was very surprised but understood her reasons. She was a person who would not compromise her principles.

I agree with everything Archie said about Janice. The world would be a better place if there more like her around.
