I did not watch this particular fight, but reading that a SI reporter called it 118-110 Holyfield, it is hard to believe that the opinions can be that different. I don't know who the judges were, but I think there are times when these judges have an opinion going into the fight, and their decision is influenced by that opinion.
Holyfield is 46 - had he won, he would have been the oldest fighter to have a piece of the championship belt. I doubt there will be a rematch - I hope it is the end of Holyfield's career. He has done about all he can do.
