Bruce had an infectious...

enthusiasm, and was always a joy to be around. I remember the first time I met him, must have been in the mid 1980's. We had a casino collectibles shop in the visitor's center in the middle of downtown Reno, right among all the casinos. There was a camera shop next to our little store, and Bruce came to that shop were he sold camera equipment. He noticed our shop and came in when he was done with his business next door. We were right at the front of the little visitor's mall there, and had a loft above where we kept all our back-up merchandise. We had been corresponding with Bruce prior, so when he came to the store we didn't have any reservations about letting him loose in our loft. He was just like a kid let loose in a candy store. I will never forget that moment. It's my favorite memory of him. I do miss him tremendously. To me, he is what kept this hobby going.
