I loved the part were the store owner didn't know that people collect those (chips).

I run into that all the time with lottery tickets, even though my collection may not be worth anything but the cost of scrap paper i still enjoy collecting what I do (coins, lottery tickets and casino chips and tokens). Note if you think lottery tickets aren't worth anything then if you have the Hoover ticket from Illinois (from the presidental set) you have some money there. I paid $300 for mine.
