Regarding the post somewhere down below. This is not what I said:
"James made the statement that people that are buying his book from AMAZON or Barnes and Noble are jerks".

NO, this is what I said in a note to Mark Englebretson:
"So when a guy posts on the board to go buy at Amazon or B&N and take away
money from book sellers like myself, Dice702, CT Coins, etc. they are real
jerks!!!!! Support those in the hobby".

Perhaps my note to Mark E. was not clear enough. I did not feel he would put my whole private letter on the board. Part of it or adding to it would of been fine. I was mearly mentioning how someone, after I would make a post about my book would quickly chime in and say buy from Amazon they are cheaper or they are X amoubt. And this is the reason I did not feel like posting when he asked me about when I was going to make another book post. I don't want to spend the time to find the post, I dont care who it is, but someone that wants business to go out of the hobby to the big book sellers when there a number of dealers of chips selling my book is being outright selfish.

I am amazed how some would think I am calling someone a jerk for buying my book!

Buy it from whoever you want, I still get a royalty for each book sold. Am I getting rich off royalties? For the record- absolutely not. I receive about 30 cents a book! I get no upfront money yet I spend months preparing for each new addition. Actually years as I can never stop tracking chip finds, prices, etc. It is a true labor of love and something I am proud of. I make many sacrifices in doing these books, family summer vacation, etc. I also put my chip business on hold. Selling chips is my living. Not having money come in for about 4 months and buying a house at the same time, has made life a bit tough. Do I want to sell all the books I can? Absolutely. I buy the books at wholesale and hope to make some money as a part time book dealer.

Big businesses like Amazon, Wal Mart, etc. might offer items lower than someone else but you dont always get the quality service you might like. If you want to wait over a month go to Amazon and buy a book. If you don't want my signature go to Amazon, etc. And if you keep going to Amazon, etc. dealers in books like myself might not have a reason to buy from my publisher to resale books.

The bottom line is the book is done and I hope collectors enjoy this one. I do not want to get into posting or arguing back and forth on here. If you have something important to say or ask please just email me as really I rarely read this board.
