Hello Barry, I usually do that on the chips because I have no clue on the value. That's only if they are not new. Then I can set a price. As for the other items I ask to make offers, I have no set price and I want to give the individual the opportunity to offer me something he feels he is getting a good deal. I don't want the individual to think he is cheating me, no. I want them to make me the lowest offer possible that they feel good with. That way we both feel good. Hope this helps.
