DOUG I HAVE HAD A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE WITH MY VEH
The last 15 yrs. I have had 6-7 new GM cars between myself and wife, and never did anything except change the oil. I keep my cars 3yrs max, I lease. I therefore always have a bumper to bumper warranty, but I have never used the warranty. The Buick is rated in the top 2-3 year after year in reliability, in every report I have read. the J.D. Powers report is the bible of car ratings, has been for 50 yrs. many other ratings are swayed by adsvertisers, and other factors. If you really want to know which cars give the least trouble, talk to the person who really knows, the mechanic, he see's all the troubles, from all the makes. Not the advertisers, or bought and paid for car mag's. there was a time when GM was putting out a sub par product, late 70's and early 80's, but great improvement in the 90' and now. Sometimes it is hard to overcome a bad reputation. I'm one happy GM owner the last 15 yrs. Hope they surive, interesting note the most expense one prescription drug expense for the Union, is Vi agra. Why should it be covered? Well, on second though, I guess it is important to men between 55-65.
