THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...
A BLIZZARD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
A STRONG ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH NORTHEAST WYOMING
LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON...BRINGING NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO
35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH. MUCH COLDER AIR WILL FOLLOW THE COLD
FRONT AND REMAIN OVER THE AREA FOR SEVERAL DAYS. SNOW WILL ALSO
DEVELOP LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND PERSIST THROUGH MIDDAY
SUNDAY...WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES EXPECTED. STRONG
NORTHWEST WINDS ALONG WITH THE SNOWFALL WILL PRODUCE BLOWING SNOW
AND VERY POOR VISIBILITIES. ADDITIONALLY...THESE WINDS COMBINED
WITH MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL PRODUCE BITTERLY COLD WIND
CHILLS.
A BLIZZARD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FALLING AND/OR
BLOWING SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS AND EXTREMELY POOR VISIBILITIES.
THIS CAN LEAD TO WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AND MAKE TRAVEL VERY
DANGEROUS.
Might have to stay home and let the new help get some experience. There is alot to be said for the "Great Indoors."
Stay wrm,
Mark
