Actually, I do and I remember those "things" they installed that looked like ski poles next to the seats for the rider to hang onto.
I would bet for most part anyone with any sense took the seats out and dumped them.

Speaking of Subaru, do you remember the first GL 10's and similar models where the spare tire sat atop the engine?
I always thought that was one of the stupidest things I ever saw. Looked like a great way to speed up dry rot if there ever was one.
