Has anyone else noticed this with their Epson Perfection. My all in one scanners i used to have didnt do this. If you put your chips to the very edge of the scanner, it scans the side of the chip where you can even see the edge printing on chipcos! If you put it in the middle of the scanner you dont get that effect. I like to scan so you see the edge of the chip so i like that my scanner does this. See the examples below...
