I am fairly computer savvy... My old job I used to tear them apart all the time and change out Power Supplies and Hard Drives. My daughter uses it but its fairly old (in computer terms 6 years), the way it locks up I think it is not the hard drive, could be over heating, or a bad power supply, but knowing my daughter : ) she could have done something software wise. LOL

And Ross... Thanks for the link... I will see if they have the correct adapter, it is not a parallel, but right off hand I could not tell you the name of the plug on that printer.
