My 2000 Silverado was made in Ottawa, ON (Canada) and I am guessing yours was made there too so they're almost built in the USA. Anyway my truck has been an excellent vehicle, never left me stranded, gets around 16 MPG around town so I can't complain too much (except when gas was almost $4 a gallon!) It's got around 150,000 miles on it now and it's starting to rust over the rear wheels but I'll keep on driving it until it drops or I drop!
