many more in between and hope my last car will be a Chevy. Its a very sad day to say what has happen to the US auto industry and I know for a fact what the Union gets (Benefits are a big part and not salary), but they also have a lot of bulk they can do away with too. They compared it too the cars made in the south and they are not union and they also have a cheaper cost of living too. This does not excuse the auto industry. Are they trying to bust the union???

If they dont give like the airlines, which still are not any better, but wagers are about half what they used to be after 9/11 to compete with the lower airlines out there and that is what these folks have to do. If these were different times I would say let them file chapter 11 and reorg, that is basicly what they are going to do anyway, as they will be watched like a hawk. Clean up your act or return your money and fail.

I agree with a few posts that sadly many US cars were not dependable many years back and that is why people switched over to the foreign cars, but those times have changed. I hope its not to late. My Chevy runs like a champ and hope to keep it a long time. I also hope I can get parts for it too.
