Yes the Red River shootout might be the game of the year but it occurred in week six when most teams aren't playing at their best yet. As teams get further into their season they start playing better, Longhorns, Sooners, and my Jayhawks included. So yes I do believe the Sooners have been hitting on all 12 cylinders the last half of the season. While the Longhorn's have had an awesome season, their wins just haven't been as impressive as the Sooners, especially recently, and apparently the polls that make up the BCS agree.
