Today I start showing french casinos ( photos, chips, jetons and plaques- only € denomination) beginning by letter A. France has about 195 casinosand 14 cercles ( 10 in Paris and the other 4 in Reims, Arles, Lyon and Toulouse- now 3 were closed by authorities). Most of the casinos are settled in touristic areas like beachs and spas.In french outremer territories there are 7 casinos (Guadeloupe, Martinique and Ile de la Reunion).
There is a leader group od companies - Partouche ( 47 casinos), Barriere (33), JOA ( ex Moliflor 21) and Tranchant (17). Partouche is the leader in number of casinos, but Barriere is the first because his Casino d´Enghien, settled near Paris is the most important french casino.
A second group- Emeraud ( 8 casinos), Cogit (8), Viking (5), AREV (5), Tahoe (4), Omnium (3). The other casinos are independent casinos and have 20% of the market- some of them important, like Aix les Bains, Annecy or Evian.
