Dave Kielbasinski's Post (a few below mine) got me to ask a question I've been wanting to ask for awhile.
I'm new here (R-7942), and I've been watching this board for a few weeks now.

My question is, how do you all get such great scans?
I had an older scanner (600x1200 resolution) and the scans were lousy. Bought a newer HP All-In-One which goes up to (1200x2400) and although my images are sharper, they're not as sharp as some of yours.
Also, certain colors are way off, while others are spot on.

Can some of you tell me (and others) what specific scanners you use, manufacturer, model #, etc.
What software you're using and do you do anything else to improve the scans - any special technique - whatever!
