They were located in Syracuse, New York and were in business between 1905-'69. They traveled a rocky finacial road - especially during the depression (just like a lot of businesses). In 1939, under new ownership, they began manufacturing hotel ware, and continued this line until the late '50s or early '60s.

And thank you again for the info about my Vernon Kilns plate. Even though I didn't see all of the connections you mentioned, I really expected to see a "Made Expressly For Harolds Club" when I first looked at the back, but it was produced as a RENO Souvenir Plate. I don't want to speculate, but .... well, I wonder what was happening before, during and after Mr. Sederling got his assignment to do this artwork. And did Mr. Vernon know the significance of all of the small details? Hmmmm .....
