I think if you bid on a 3 chip auction and missed the rider at the bottom of the listing, you probably should pay the $3. If anyone got charged shipping on a 1 chip listing with shipping to the lower 48, they'd have a valid complaint.

The lesson....read the entire listing carefully. Once, I won a chip that was missing the inlay on one side. I only looked at the photo, and of course, that was NOT the side pictured. The was clearly a line about the missing inlay in the listing. I was a bit annoyed when I got the chip, but really, it was my fault. Lesson learned.
