From what I have been reading tonight it is looking like there is a strong possibility that the Longhorn's #2 BCS ranking will be short lived. They're in kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. If OU gets beat by OSU in Stillwater next weekend, which is a possibility based on the fact that the Sooner's historically have not done well in Stillwater, the three-way tie will be broken and there will be a two-way tie between Texas and Texas Tech. Texas Tech wins that tie-breaker by virtue of beating the Longhorn's back on Nov. 1st in Lubbock which puts Tech back in first place of the Big XII South. Now then if both OU and Texas win their games next weekend, OU is likely to move ahead of Texas in the BCS polls by virtue of their stronger road win in Stillwater vs Texas winning at home against a weaker Texas A&M team. Confused? I am!
Cheers,
Bill
