I bought 5 Valley 3-1/2'x7' tables....
In Response To: What are you trading? grin ()

...back in 1985 for $500 each from a local coin-op vendor (they usually put the machines in a place for free for a 50/50 cut on the drop) when I opened my bar. The Valleys were coin-ops, and while they were all used, delivery and setup was included. Another part of the deal was to have them balanced, new felt installed and have any rail problems fixed buy the best table man in town (make them play like new). The coin-op vendor knew more about jukebox drop than I did at the time, but I still think I got the better end of this deal. My concession was to allow him to put a jukebox in the place on a one-year contract with a 50/50 split on the jukebox drop. We both made money. I got all of the pool table drop (and owned the tables), and he cleared out part of his warehouse space by cutting loose 5 used pool tables. grin
