Skip just happens to be a honest chipper who at first thought all other chippers were just as honest, but to find out that not all of them actually are.
Anyone who reads this message board should be able to see what's taking place when any uninformed chipper either enters into a deal or proposers one when they are not fully aware of that market.
We've all seen posts such as: "I'll pay $XXX for this chip" with responses such as "Are you serious?" Or posts asking what a value of a chip was because that person was away from home and didn't have his 2004 Chip Rack with him... and many of us have had e-mails by sellers asking what they paid for a chip several years ago... or asked for advice on trading a recent purchase of a Z+ chip for a chip worth less than half because the person with the balance trade suggested the chip was a sleeper and worth far more than seen in the book...
Just because two chippers walk away from a trade thinking they both did well is not always the case when one later learns he or she got stiffed... As you well know, I'm quite sure.
