I'm happy that your auction went as you hoped and you are right... He had wonderful communication until I told him there was a problem. I started by emailing him that he must have sent me the wrong chip. All I got from him is that he has a no return policy. A number if emails went back and forth. He acted like he was totally confused by some of the information I sent him. He totally ignored my question of what "exactly the same" meant to him. That should not have confused him!

I opened a dispute. He escalated it to a complaint because paypal put a hold on the sum and he wanted to get the money asap. We already had a number of emails back and forth and he refused to consider that he made a "mistake".

I'm not so sure it was a mistake though... I thought so at first but then 2 things imply it wasn't. He was straight out asked if the chip had 666 or 999 on the other side (he posted the question in the auction) and he answered... "The picture that is posted is the Chip up for Auction. If 1 Picture is Posted, then both sides are the same". That's pretty straightforward to me!

The other thing I noticed... If you look at his feedback, he was winning a bunch of auctions from known chip dealers.
It would be wrong of me not to give this guy a negative... He had quite a few chances to make it right.
