There are some folks that voted for Obama just because he was black. To many, it was because they felt that Obama would be the candidate most likely to look out for their concerns and issues. That doesn't make them racist any more than you voting for McCain makes you racist. You voted for the candidate that you think would look out for your best interest. Believe it or not, many minorities (not just blacks) in this country still feel oppressed and without much of a voice. Obama is a candidate that they think will do the best job representing them. They are willing to defer to his judgement on some topics in hopes that when he makes those decisions, the decisions will not alienate/oppress/etc... them.
But you know this... why are you starting this thread? Weren't you one of the ones who told John B. that the election was over?
