My wife and I used to go to Vegas in the sixtys. We would stay at the Stardust. Played there and at other great old casinos ( Hacienda, Horse Shoe, Golden Nugget ect.) We would see owners and upper management on the floor. They knew the players and how to treat them. The owners back then were gamblers and knew what gamblers liked. The net on the floor was what counted ( and it was BIG ). Now it is the rooms, resteraunts, and shops and shows. Less tables and more slots with TITOS ( I remember silver dollars ) . Benny Binion is probable standing up in his grave screaming. I wonder how many board members have ever walked the floor of the casinos they control.Would they even know what they are looking at?
