of his comment was your post where you thought that because of your purchase of that Showboat chip, the club should come to you asking you to rejoin and that the club should pay your membership dues. I've never met you and we have had civil "discussions" on this board, but I will tell you that I personally took that comment as extremely arrogant on your part. I don't know if you meant it that way, but that is how I took it. There's a collector that allegedly has two of those same Showboat chips...should he be treated twice as special as you? You have a great chip collection...fantastic; you've made a good living...that's great, too. But a lot of us that enjoy this club are more impressed by those that support this club & the hobby. This post is not meant as a slam on you -- I just wanted you to realize maybe where the some of the anger about your comment comes from.
