If someone sends an abusive email that isn't solicited, then they have no right to privacy (IMO) - and I for one am intested to know if someone is being abusive so that I can stay away from dealing with them. If you ask for private email then fine, but otherwise no. Why should someone be able to send abuse and be able to keep that private? Just my opinion, but happy to discuss.
And to be clear, no comment on Glen and Shaun's dispute, just a comment to John's post, but I do know that we at least can have a discussion, even if we don't agree! That's the bit that I do love about this board, even if we don't always stick to chipping!
