in Arcadia in 2000 that introduced me to some great people & to this great hobby. It was funny 'cuz I remember my wife coming home so pi$$ed off because she thought that there was a craft boutique at the Arcadia Masonic Hall, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...just "some stupid casino show". I had been collecting the Hard Rock chips plus whatever else I could afford from Dave & Debbie Harber's "Cheques in the Mail" (man...I lived for their monthly flyers), so I rushed over. I remember making two trips to the ATM at that show
. The people that I remember from that show was some tall guy by the door with a flat-top haircut, Jodi & Dean (the flips that their chips came in had the history of the casino, which was great!!), Scott & Estelle Hartman and Joe Benon who got the majority of my money for all the Hard Rock roulettes. I made my first $100 chip purchase at that show...a 25 cent Lucky Casino chip from the Hartmans. From that point on, I was completely hooked!!
Thanks for all you've done, Jim...not only for this hobby, but your service to the country (Marine) & the community (sheriff).
Bedo (I do miss those days in the Home Depot parking lot, though!! )
