When I was laid off from Boeing in 2002 after the 9-11 terrorist attacks, they laid off somewhere between 20,000 and 30,000 heads (as management called us) before it was over so I know the stress you are feeling. At least we all got a 60 day "WARN notice" that we were getting whacked!
