... is that the White House was built in part by African Slaves (something hardly mentioned in our schools) and staffed by African Slaves... and now, for the first time in our history, a president-elect of African ancestry will be moving in with his family. I would imagine similar events associated with this upcoming historic move will be of interest to Americans as similar events of other First Families ("measuring the drapes") have always been of interest to Americans in the past; especially with a president's children... not to mention the dog(s) of presidents.

The events leading up to this historic transition have always been of interest and enjoyed by most Americans.
