hey Butch, nice meeting you here in Vegas...I'd get the cheapest laptop if thats what your mainly interested in...hp, acer, toshiba, compaq...cant go wrong..laptops have 2 memory slots but on some, like my HP, you can only upgrade 1 slot, the other has to be done at the factory. with xmas around the corner, you could pick one up for 400 bucks, which will serve your needs
