Enjoyed your story about being turned away at the spa. Very funny and typical!! Reminds me of when my aunt went to the spa at the Mirage. This was about a year after they opened back when people smoked everywhere in Las Vegas. She went to the Mirage spa while smoking and they told her she had to put out her cigarette. She asked why and they said because Mr. & Mrs. Wynn were tired of breathing other people's smoke. After she replied, "Are Mr. and Mrs. Wynn tired of spending other people's money?" she walked out and never went back!

Although I had a wicked massage at a day spa in Austin while I was there for Halloween, my leisure time these days is spent a bit differently. Last Saturday night, I was at an auction at the Hainesville VFD. Saturday nights in East Texas are just as interesting as being on the Strip, only in a different way! I came very close to coming home with a Chocolate Lab puppy!
